The Clark Tournament is for teams in towns in Central Massachusetts. It has been held since 1939. There are 2 divisions, a smaller school and larger school division based on the 16 teams selected by the tournament to compete. Teams must be from public or vocational school with a male enrollment under 650 students. There are 36 schools eligible to participate in this tournament and teams are selected by their records as of 1 week before the tournament begins. It is single elimination so everyone selected gets at least 1 game with the champions playing a maximum of 3 games. There is no entry fee for schools selected and money raised from ticket sales goes to a scholarship fund for incoming Clark University freshmen who come from any of the eligible schools.
